The 25th Amendment

I am no expert on the US Constitution, and when I first heard this question I had no idea what the correct answer was. But I don't think the answer given is strictly correct.

I've done some fairly extensive research on the Internet, and no source that I can find says that the 25th amendment "provides for the removal of the President". What they all seem to say is that it clarifies the rules for the replacement of the President (and the Vice President).

For example, the Legal Information Institute states that the 25th Amendment "provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation." In other words, the President has already been removed (or has resigned, died, or otherwise become incapacitated) before the 25th Amendment comes into play. (The Legal Affairs Institute is supported by Cornell University, and proclaims "Open access to law since 1992".)

In case you were wondering what Wikipedia has to say on the subject: its opening statement is that the 25th Amendment "[deals] with issues related to presidential succession and disability."
